Your Jennifer Higgins Photography experience begins by scheduling your session.
At that time we will discuss the best time of day for your session, your personal portrait style, clothing choices and location ideas so that your session can be tailored to your personal preferences.
All sessions are by appointment only and when you schedule a session, you will be the only client for that time slot!
My goal for each session is to create portraits that artistically capture special moments in time.

*Please note we do have 2 cats at our in home studio in case you have any allergies to cats.

My background in advertising and art along with technical knowledge of photography has helped me create images that evoke emotion and are timeless.
I am proud to be working with two of the nation’s leading professional imaging labs to bring you the latest and best photographic materials and products!
I attend workshops and educational seminars to continually improve my knowledge and skills.
Your session will be photographed digitally which gives me the freedom to capture many expressions and moods.
By utilizing enhancement software, I am able to create custom works of art that can be printed in color, black and white, sepia, or selectively colored to enhance your image.
I can also create custom collages in a variety of sizes.

Your images will be available for viewing on your personal online gallery within 1 week of your session and will be accessible for up to 4 weeks.
They will be password protected for your privacy. If you need them re-uploaded for any reason after your album expires there is a $30 fee assessed.

Especially for Baby/Family/Children's Sessions

Expect to feel relaxed and not rushed.
As a mother, I understand sometimes with children, we need to break for snacks or changings.
I want your family to feel comfortable whether at my home studio, your home or a local park.
I will interact with your child(ren) and work alongside you to bring out genuine expressions.
Whether it’s a wink, a smile, or a faraway gaze every expression is special and unique.
Families having fun, precious pouts from toddlers or even the yawns and cries from newborn babies are all memories to treasure.
I want to help you remember these special moments forever in a timeless portrait.
Typical sessions run an hour or more depending on the age and number of subjects. Sessions includes one clothing change; additional clothing changes can be accommodated for $10 per outfit. I recommend solid colored clothing to create a timeless image. Khaki or jeans work great as do overalls & sundresses, hats or scarves. Similar colors for groups will help keep the focus on the face and unify multiple subjects. Watch out for patterns and text which can be distracting. Don't forget any fun or favorite items such as tutus, blankies, or stuffed animals. Also flowers or dress-up clothes.

Especially for Senior Sessions

After booking your session with Jennifer Higgins Photography we will send you an information packet.
This packet confirms the date and time of your session, has directions to our studio,
along with helpful hints and tips for making your portraits look great.
On the day of your session bring in your clothing, props, and any other items you may need for your portraits.
Your personal online previews will be available in about a week.
If your order is placed within the two weeks of your on-line album release you will receive 10% off your final order.
